Gygax Park

Gary was a visionary, whose ambition to share his love of games, science fiction, and fantasy would lead him along a path to create a game that would change the world and create stories that would make him a best selling author.

As a boy, looking off across the lake from his favorite spot at the west end of Elm Park, Gary would daydream, read books from the Lake Geneva Public Library, and imagine worlds beyond, dreaming of living in Stone Manor and writing fantasy novels of his own. Gary realized his dream in the mid-eighties, actually living in Stone Manor and writing the fantasy books that would make him a NY Times Best Selling Author several times over.

The Gygax Memorial Fund hopes that this hallowed space at the west end of Elm Park will be dedicated as Gygax Park in memorium of Gary Gygax.
